Comfort Springs, a small provisional town south of New Orleans is like any other small town with its inhabitants going about their daily business. It has a library, a school system, a restaurant, a tattoo studio, strip club, store, and several other businesses. It is also home of Devil's Comfort MC. Most people drive through Comfort Springs neither seeing nor hearing the heart of life beneath the benign existence that's going on around them.
Occasionally the odd visitor stops and eats at Sammy’s Café. It’s only as they drink their ice sweet tea or sip their mint julep, they look around, and that’s when they notice the men and women. The bikers and their companions as they pull up outside Link the Ink, Tattoo Studio. Where they spend their days sitting on the steel chairs scattered outside the Tattoo Parlor, chatting and laughing. Occasionally, if these visitors have luck on their side, they might catch sight of Flynn Roberts, World Champion Ultimate Fighter, until he retired. If their luck is really in, they might catch a glimpse of one or two members of Sour Mash, the world-famous rock band.
These bikers are not the original founders of Devil’s Comfort. The originals are long gone. Put out to pasture or murdered as they protected what is theirs. The founding member and former president, Yorkie, (at this time, is alive,) retired due to ill health. When Yorkie stepped away from the club, Inferno, a single father, was voted in as the new president. Since taking over the presidency of Devil's Comfort, and with the help of his fellow officers, (Linc, the club's Vice President, and the only officer to be married. He married Cassie, his soulmate within twenty-four hours of meeting her. The twins, Dec, the club's Sergeant at Arms and Tabby, the Club's Secretary, and embrace the single life. Fudge, the club's Road Manager, the only officer of Devil's Comfort not born and raised in Comfort Springs. It was his unhappy childhood which brought him to Comfort Springs and Devil's Comfort,) has built up a reputable club which precariously balances between good and bad.
If you look closer at these bikers, you’ll see they wear their badges of glory with pride. These men are respected and feared throughout Comfort Springs as they keep the peace.
